Clara Moore

Marketing and Public Relations Manager

Amphibian's newest team member, Clara is a Fort Worth native with long ties to art and theater in Fort Worth. She attended Southwestern University for her BFA in Studio Art with a focus in oil painting and a minor in art history. During this time she was also able to attend Suffolk University in Madrid to study the works of Goya in depth at the Prado Museum. Clara spent a season as the dig illustrator for Adams State University's Archaeology Department at their Fort Massachussetts site in southeastern Colorado, where she documented artifacts in situ and participated in all aspects of the excavation process. Back in Fort Worth, she began focusing on her artwork full time, and developed a series of highly detailed anatomic drawings on scratchboard. Called The Body Electric, the pieces combine accurate anatomical drawing with mythology, botanical symbols and visual puns to explore what our bodies mean to us. She has participated in shows with Fort Works Art, Arts Fifth Avenue and the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, as well as Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches and several venues in Austin. Her work can be found in private collections across the United States, as well as in the UK and Jordan.
