We work with both Equity and non-Equity actors, and we cast locally, as well as around the country. The rehearsal schedule will be in the evenings on weekdays and daytime on weekends. 
Rehearsals and performances will be held at Amphibian Stage Productions 120 S. Main St. Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Sports agent Liz Rico is at the top of her game, but a woman in a man's industry has to fight to stay there. She takes on client Freddie Luna, a high school basketball superstar with a troubled past in the ultimate bet: will this be the biggest win of her career or will she lost it all? Award-winning playwright Fernanda Coppel's story of gender, race, and class is high energy and full of heart.

We are currently seeking a production intern for A Lost Leonardo by David Davalos. The position will begin on October 2 and continue through November 10. A weekly stipend is available.

Marketing and PR Manager

Amphibian is currently seeking a Marketing and PR Manager to direct and oversee all marketing and public relations efforts for the company's year-round season of main stage productions, readings, screenings, educational outreach, workshops, and other events. 

The Marketing and PR Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans for all of the organization's programming. The Marketing and PR Manager will create and distribute external communications with patrons, donors, members of the press, and the general public and will ensure consistent branding and messaging for the organization. She/he will also create and distribute internal communications regarding marketing and public relations progrss. This position will report directly to the Artistic Director, Managing Director, and the Board of Directors. 

Responsiblities include (but are not limited to):


  • Create and distribute printed and digital communications with patrons and donors, including postcards, email communications, season announcements, and more. 
  • Conduct research into local advertising market to identify appropriate ad outlets, conduct advertising buys, and work with ad reps to ensure proper timing and placement. 
  • Work with graphic designer, Alfalfa Studio, to create images and promotional materials for the organization.
  • Create additional graphic design and promotional materials using Photoshop and InDesign as needed.
  • Work with printers and mailing houses to produce and distribute printed promotional materials. 
  • Direct social media strategies and manage all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. 
  • Manage and update the organization's website, working with website manager Starr Conspiracy, on a regular basis and gather images and information for updates.
  • Direct promotional phot and video shoots for season programming. Work with photographers and videographers to create and edit promotional photos and videos.
  • Coordinate production photo shoots and archival filming of season programming. 
  • Attend community events as a representative of the company. 
  • Work with marketing staff at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth to cross-promote National Theatre Live screenings presented in the museum's auditorium, as well as other events presented at the museum. 
  • Create and manage institutional and production marketing budgets. 
  • Attend marketing and theatre conferences and seminars for educational purposes.
  • Create or oversee the creation of all signage at the Amphibian building, including the donor wall, naming of various spaces, exterior company and show signage, interior programming and membership posters, social media signs, bar and snack menus, and more. 

Public Relations

  • Serve as the main contact for all press and media.
  • Compose and issue all press releases to members of the press on Amphibian programming. 
  • Pitch and coordinate features and reviews of season programming. 
  • Issue press invitations for various productions and programs and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure press attendance.
  • Greet and assist members of the press at performances.
  • Create playbills for all main stage productions.
  • Track and compile all press coverage of the organization.
  • Report regularly to Amphibian staff on press coverage of all programming. 

Patron Experience

  • Answer the box office phone and work box office desk at events, in conjunction with other staff members, to assist patrons with ticket orders, reservations, donations, and other requests. 
  • Collaborate with staff to design audience engagement activities for main stage shows and other season events. 

This is a full-time position. The salary will be commensurate with experience. 


The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated, creative thinker able to juggle multiple projects at once and effectively lead the department with little direct supervision while still being a team player in this administrative staff of five people. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years relevant experience in Marketing and/or Public Relations required, preferably in the performing arts industry. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and have a knowledge of website and social media platforms. Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented and highly organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and have the ability to prioritize work. A passion for theatre, a knowledge of the industry, and a sense of humor are musts.
